Vor wenigen Minuten ging Sonys Pressekonferenz zu Ende, auf der es auch ein wenig Material zu Watch Dogs zu sehen gab (siehe Gameplay-Trailer unten). Der von Ubisoft entwickelte Titel wird von vielen Fans bereits sehnsüchtig erwartet.
Nach der Präsentation auf der Pressekonferenz verschickte Ubisoft eine Pressemeldung, in der es am Schluss heißt, dass Watch Dogs zum Release der PlayStation 4 im Weihnachtsgeschäft zusammen mit den Versionen für PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC und Wii U erscheint. Damit wurden die Gerüchte der letzten Tage endgültig bestätigt und die Freude bei Wii U-Besitzern dürfte groß sein. Vielleicht lässt sich dadurch sogar der Unmut, dass Rayman Legends sich verspätet, etwas besser verkraften? Eure Meinung in den Kommentaren ist wie immer stark erwünscht.

Players will assume the role of Aiden Pearce, a new type of vigilante who, with the help of his smartphone, will use his ability to hack into Chicago's central operating system (ctOS) and control almost every element of the city. Aiden will be able to tap into the city's omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control systems such as traffic lights or public transportation to stop a chase, and more. The city of Chicago is now the ultimate weapon.

Watch_Dogs will be available on PS4 at launch, along with its release on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the Wii U™ system from Nintendo and Windows PC.
