Der 3D-computeranimierte Comedyfilm Hotel Transylvania soll am 28. September 2012 in die Kinos kommen. Eine Videospielumsetzung darf dazu selbstverständlich nicht fehlen, weshalb gestern ein gleichnamiges Spiel angekündigt wurde.
Hotel Transylvania ist ein Action-Adventure-Spiel, das für den DS und den 3DS erscheinen soll. Veröffentlicht wird es von GameMill Entertainment, der Erscheinungszeitraum ist September. Es ist davon auszugehen, dass das Spiel zeitnah zum Film herausgebracht wird.
Für die Entwicklung ist Way Forward verantwortlich. Hotel Transylvania fügt sich damit in einer Reihe von Spielen ein, die aktuell bei den Kaliforniern entwickelt werden. Zu diesen zählen unter anderem Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd you steal our garbage?! für DS/3DS oder Mighty Switch Force HD für Wii U.

Welcome to Hotel Transylvania, Dracula’s lavish five-stake resort, where monsters and their families can live it up, free to be the monsters they are without humans to bother them. On one special weekend, Dracula has invited some of his best friends – Frankenstein and his wife, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, the Werewolf family, and more – to celebrate his beloved daughter Mavis’s 118th birthday. For Drac, catering to all of these legendary monsters is no problem – but everything could change for the overprotective dad when one ordinary guy stumbles on the hotel and takes a shine to Mavis.
Featuring a wide variety of locations, puzzles, and boss battles galore, the game creates an imaginative and fun way to interact with the movie characters.
